About Pastor Claude
Claude S. Williams is the Pastor and Leader of Victory Christian Center Church and has an intense passion to see God’s people live Victorious lives. Born in St. Petersburg Florida,Claude credits the strong community and spiritual influences that surrounded him while growing for his determination to see others succeed.
Pastor Claude is 1977 graduate of the University of South Florida with a BA in Communications. He has completed a one-year correspondence Ministry course from Light Christian Institute of Ministry and a three-year course from Rhema Bible Training Center.
In his secular life, Pastor Mr. Williams has been employed by the City of St. Petersburg for over twenty years. During his tenure in the Budget Department he obtained a myriad of experience which enabled him to become the City’s Budget Manager. His duties included coordinating St. Petersburg’s then $504 million annual operating budget process and supervising Budget Analysts.
Pastor Williams is a 1991 graduate of the National Forum for Black Public Administrators (NFBPA) Mentor Program and received the NFBPA (Tampa Bay Chapter) Outstanding Public Service Award for the year 2000. He is a 1999 graduate of the University of South Florida Institute of Government Executive Fellows Leadership Development Program and a graduate of Leadership St. Pete Class of 2000. He served on the Board of Directors of the St. Petersburg Free Clinic and the Interdenominational Ministerial Alliance (IMA) Human Services Division. He was Chair of the Lakewood High School School Advisory Council (SAC), and serves on the Supervisory Committee of the St. Petersburg Municipal Employee Credit Union, and is actively involved in other community services and serves on numerous committees.
Pastor Williams and wife Cecelia Williams are life long residents of St. Petersburg and the parents of five. He is one of the Founders of Victory Christian Center Church, a Word of Faith Church located in St. Petersburg Florida.
